The Wildcats on the Radio and Online The Scottsboro Wildcats are heard on Real Country 1050-AM WWIC Radio. WWIC’s audio is also heard on Scottsboro Cable Channel 2. Greg Bell, WWIC Owner and Manager begins his 24th year behind the mic of Wildcat football. He has been at WWIC since April of 1986 and is in his 35th year of radio. Bell is also the official statistician of Scottsboro Wildcat Football and uses the Automated Scorebook for Football computer program in producing in-depth statistical reports for the coaching staff. Former Wildcat Robbie Copenhaver provides color analysis on the broadcast. Copenhaver is a current member of the Scottsboro City Board of Education and is District Manager with Crimson Enterprises, which owns Captain D’s restaurants in Scottsboro, Fort Payne and the states of Louisiana and Tennessee. Sideline and locker room reporting will be handled by Bradley Potter. Game night statistics compiled by James “Tater” Jeffrey. WWIC’s broadcast of Scottsboro Wildcat football begins each Friday night at 6:00 with the Coach Swane Morris Show and concludes with the post-game report some three hours later. Fans can follow the Wildcats online at www.scottsborowildcats.com. The site is an online encyclopedia on Scottsboro Wildcat football. Fans can even listen to live game audio on Friday nights. The site was recognized by the National Football League as their first-ever NFLHS website of the week in 2002.
