Trammell Stadium

The Scottsboro Wildcats call Trammell Stadium home. The stadium was built and dedicated in 1971, and named in honor of the prominent Trammell family of Scottsboro. The most famous of the family was Pat Trammell who starred for the Wildcats from 1954-1957. During his Wildcat career, Trammell received All-County, All-State, All-Southern and All-American honors. Trammell went on to star for the Alabama Crimson Tide, leading the team to the 1961 National Championship.

Scottsboro’s first game in Trammell Stadium was September 3, 1971, and the evening saw the Wildcats defeat Austin of Decatur 18-7. The Wildcats have posted an all-time record at Trammell Stadium of 103-82-1.
